Challenge — terms & conditions

The rules of the GRC·LABS cyber challenge, in plain language. A working draft, pending final review.

1. The challenge. The GRC·LABS challenge is a series of cyber puzzles we publish — for fun, and for finding sharp people. Solving one is its own reward, and a way to reach us.
2. Eligibility & “save your seat.” Open to anyone 18 or older. “Save your seat” means we'll hold a place for you in what comes next — an event, a conversation, or a role we're opening. It's an invitation, not a binding offer or a guarantee of employment.
3. Fair play. Solve the puzzles as intended. Don't attack, disrupt or probe our systems, other people's, or anything beyond the puzzle itself, and don't publish solutions before we do. We may disqualify anyone who breaks fair play.
4. Our challenge. The puzzles, their content and the challenge itself are GRC·LABS's — © all rights reserved. You keep your own solutions and submissions; by sending them, you let us read, store and respond to them.
5. Your data. If you contact us through the challenge, we keep only what we need to reply and follow up, handle it under our privacy practice, and never sell it.
6. Changes. We may update, pause or end the challenge, and change these terms, at any time. The current version always lives on this page.
